We must be able to communicate our needs and wants in a fashion that makes it easier to achieve our goals. Much of effective communication is rooted in our preferred style of behavior. How we act dictates how others react to us. A good starting point is the DiSC profile. This assessment helps us to understand our own behavioral styles and learn to recognize the behavioral styles of others. This understanding and recognition leads to more effective communications within as well as outside and organization. For more information about DiSC, click here
